Genesis staff rewarded in new scheme

Thursday, April 06, 2006

Employees of Genesis Housing Group have been given the chance to have their special achievements rewarded due to the creation of a Special Contributions Award scheme.

Teams and individual members of staff from across the Genesis group will be rewarded for achievements which go beyond the call of duty. Employees are able to nominate colleagues who they feel has made a special contribution.

Winners of the awards, which will take place on a quarterly basis, are chosen by members of the Genesis senior management team.

Cara Davani, Group Director, Corporate Services, Genesis Housing Group said; "Introducing the Special Contribution Awards scheme represents Genesis's commitment to our staff and acknowledges the outstanding work that is carried out on a day-to-day basis by our people. We have set a goal to become an Employer of Choice and this represents a step forward in achieving this status."

Winners of the first quarter awards were rewarded for achievements which included the successful development of a neighbourhood warden scheme and the rescue of a vulnerable child.
